Supporting People Dealing With Homelessness

Here at SHARE we believe that everyone should have a place to call home, whether they have fled from war or have simply fallen on hard times, our dream is that societies come together to provide shelter, food, drink and clothing for those who have none.
Our outreach team head out at least weekly in the new SHARE van, (bought with money donated via generous sponsorship from local businesses and individuals) visiting the streets of Chester, Wirral and North Wales providing hot food and drinks, clothing and toiletries for those dealing with homelessness and extreme poverty.

Since SHARE was set up we have been truly amazed at the support we have received for our friends who are dealing with homelessness, and we do genuinely class these people as friends - SHARE has allowed us to begin to break down the stigma surrounding those forced to live on the streets.

Already we have helped someone turn their lives around by helping them to overcome their addictions, find a job and assisting them with getting in to accommodation. This chap now spends his own spare time helping out others as part of our team of regular SHARE volunteers.

SHARE want to continue to do this and help every last homeless person get back on their feet - it's a slow but steady process but we are winning the battle - this success story proves that!

You can help those without a roof over their head by donating coffee and sandwiches or volunteering your own time to help out in the SHARE Shop, at the hub or by joining the Outreach team.
